Aloha, Ore., February 21, 2009 - Oregon Region SCCA announced that Cindi Lux was awarded the 2008 Pro-Driver of the Year Award. This prestigious award was presented to Cindi for her impressive season driving the Mopar Viper Comp Coupe in SPEED World Challenge GT Series in SCCA Pro Racing. This is the 2nd time in her career that she has received this honor. Previously she received this award in 1999 when she won the ALMS Women's Global GT Series.

In 2008 Cindi scored a season-best start (third) and finish (fifth) at Miller Motorsports Park in Utah and ended up with five Top 10 finishes out of 8 races entered. Lux earned 458 driver's points and helped Dodge secure fourth in the manufacturer's championship with its Viper Competition Coupe.
