Lux Performance Runs SRT Viper Cup Celebrity Driver Program
Dodge Motorsports has announced Lux Performance Group, LLC as the "works" team to manage their new Celebrity Driver Program for the 2010, 2011, and 2012 SRT Viper Cup Racing Series. Lux Performance Group has been associated with Dodge since 2005 making the Northwest-based operation an obvious choice for the honor of overseeing the preparation of 2 Viper ACR-X race cars.
The Two Viper Cup Cars Prepped By Lux Performance
Lux Performance prepares and runs two Dodge Viper ACR-X factory built race cars for the Celebrity Driver Program in the Viper Cup series. The factory turns the Viper ACR-X street car into a race car by installing a roll cage and other safety equipment, upping the horsepower, upgrading the suspension, and putting on Michelin slicks. Then Fred Lux and the crew prepare the cars for each race.
