10/5, 3:30pm - Well, anyone who lives in the Pacific Northwest knows what the phrase "when it rains, it pours" means. But most of them don't understand what hard rain is. There appeared to be quite the melee' on the start, and Scotty was caught up in it a little. Unlike past races where he gained position, Scotty fell back to 20th. Cindi on the other hand moved up to 8th. Then a light rain started. Then heavy rain. Cindi eventually came in under yellow to get wet tires. But race officials eventually red-flagged the race because cars were parked everywhere on-track and there was a "lake" forming on the track. One of those cars that parked was Scotty, who was shown in 17th at the checkered flag. Cindi fell to 13th. We're sure the broadcast on SPEED TV on 10/13 at noon Pacific will be very interesting to watch.
10/4, 2:00pm - The qualifying grid has been updated after two cars were found to be in "technical non-compliance." Cindi moves to 10th and Scotty to 11th.
10/4, 11:00am - It was a crazy qualifying session, and it should be an even wilder race! Cindi's flying lap time of 1:27.297 is good enough for 12th on the grid. Scotty came into the pits after the fifth lap, made an adjustment and went out and pedaled his racer to #13 on the grid, with a time of 1:27.475. With the first three rows separated by just one second, and rows four through nine separated by another second, it should be an insane race! Oh yeah, and weather conditions there are almost as unpredictable as here in the northwest! Tune in tomorrow!

10/3, 2:50pm - Cindi again went out with quick lap times, and her fastest still kept her in 10th position with a time of 1:27.070. Cindi took advantage of the practice session by pitting on a couple of occasions to try out minor changes to the car. The other story is that SBW also breaks into the Top Ten, pedaling his hotrod around to a 1:26.900 lap, good for 7th! So, two NayKid Racing Dodge Viper Comp Coupes were in the top ten for the session! Qualifying is up tomorrow morning and then the race on Friday afternoon!
10/3, 8:45am - Cindi wasted no time in showing why the team decided to add this race to their schedule. She finished the first practice session in the #10 spot with a fast lap of 1:27.163. Scotty is 7 spots back, but just 0.6 seconds back. Cindi is about 1 second off the lead pace, which is a significant improvement over previous races, and was also the best time posted by a Viper. Another practice session comes up this afternoon!
