I knew at the beginning of the year that having a year under my belt driving a Corvette, things would be a little smoother and more relaxed.  A lot of the unknowns were now gone and it was going to be another fun year with the team and my teammates.

Scotty and I have a ton of mutual respect for each other both on and off the track.  I cannot tell you how great it is to have a teammate like Scotty.  We have this unique ability to bring out the best (well hopefully) in each other.  And bringing on a new teammate, Ryan Snodgrass has been a pleasant surprise.  I think his learning curve this year has been fairly steep but he has really stepped up to the challenge.  This guy is only getting faster and wiser with each race.  I better get my act together or I could be in trouble!

The performance of the team this year has been incredible.  Its not too often that a team goes UNDEFEATED!  Yep, that is correct.....11 races, 11 wins,11 poles, 6 different tracks, 6 new track records.  I won't bore you with all the other stats that were part of the year.

Winning the June Sprints this year was a goal that I personally set at the beginning of the year.  And it was a hard fought battle all the way to the end.  But once again, my teammate was close on my heals ready to take the top step on the podium.  Regardless which driver's name is in the win column, its important that one of us is there at the end.  We do this for the team and sponsors.  And that's the special part of this organization.  Total mutual respect for other drivers and crew members.  To be very frank, its damn unique and impressive.

Now we are in August and the cars are now being prepped for Mid-Ohio.  Fred, Joe, Howard, Ben and Katie are hard at work on all the cars.
